Day 106 Kuma’s FIP Journey

No Keppra

Easy day today, DF with Matt, chill for a bit, Japanese shopping, pick up some light dinner, off to home

Kuma is klutzy so he is scary on the top of the cat tower.

Today, he lost his balance and fell off the sleeping platform, but managed to catch a claw in the platform and ended up hanging 

I got him quickly, he didn’t appear to hurt himself, but I fear him falling the 6 feet to the floor 

I tried to block him from getting onto the platform, but he’s like a bowling ball with legs LOL, so he just pushed through the barrier, so we just have to monitor him.

He hasn’t had any more mishaps today, so we’ll just have to be super vigilant.

Got to play some D2R this morning, did some Cow runs, and got some runes but that’s about it, oh and a level, so that’s something.

Off to DF 

Isao, Matt, and I sat around for a bit.  I can’t drink as I’m on antibiotics for this damn sinus infection 

Off to Japanese shopping around 1330

Home, played some D2R with the druid, finished maggot lair (I hate that damn place, but it was SOOOO much easier on the druid), and the Viper Temple, now have the stave, ready for Arcane Sanctuary (hate that place too)

Kuma was sleepy when we arrived, really clingy and needy.

We held him and then he woke up and started terrorizing everyone LOL

Busy sunset on the cliffs, too many kooks

Setting in for a nice evening of dinner, watching whatever, and listening to the UT game

We need to win this to finish strong and get ready for a bowl selection.

Weeeeelllllll, UT beat Vandy 56-0, so I’d say a pretty strong showing against the doormat of the SEC.

OSU lost, LSU lost, Oregon lost, Clemson lost

Bama won, Georgia won, TCU won, USC won

It’s going to be a very interesting ranking show this upcoming week.

All the conference championships will take a toll on the top 10 as well, so let’s see where we shake out

Light dinner

1900 Neurontin 0.1mL

2045 dinner for all

2100 Capella administration

W:  6.46lbs

T:  101.4

D:  1.9mL

Position 2, R mid flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent:  I thought I had a good tent, but as soon as I penetrated the skin and started pushing, the pressure increased and Kuma started yowling.

I stopped, waited and nothing changed, so I withdrew the needle.

There was a small amount of blood and a tiny bit of meds

I cleaned it up and started looking again.

I came back to nearly the same spot, went up a bit higher, and got a good tent.

2nd needle insertion:  good, much easier

Med administration:  smooth, no yowling

Needle withdrawal:  good, no leaks or blood

Post-injection skin prep, tent bouncing, Churu all at the same time

No more leaks, OFF TO PLAY!!!

Kuma went off to play.

The adults, particularly Rocket and Sasha are taking to hiding in the bedroom when Kuma is out, it’s quite sad.

We have to make a better effort to spend time with them, play with them, and protect them from Kuma so they feel safe.

I honestly can’t wait to get him fixed.

I think his aggression is from his hormones.

Thank GOD, he’s not spraying!!!!!

5 days until we go into observation!!!!

A great day
