Day 137 Kuma’s FIP Journey Day 27 observation
Up at 0700, didn’t want to get out of bed.
I played D2R last night until midnight, and got little/nothing out of it but a bit of experience.
So I was up late and up woke up late as well
Kuma was an absolute terror this morning, I mean, so many ass-tackles, so much screaming and yelling, and being an absolute menace!!!
Rocket has been giving him the what-for recently.
Kuma will tackle him, then gets put on the ground, but Rocket will stand over him, and Kuma will start to trill at him, so Rocket relaxes and goes away.
Kuma wants to play so badly, but they are not really having it.
If we had a bigger place, I would have gotten 2 kittens so they could play together, but we’re at capacity.
So Kuma will have to make his way in the world this way.
Have to go get water today, then finish the laundry that has been sitting unloved for months now.
A bit of a busy day.
I went for a walk but Rodd caught me as I was making the turn down along the beach side of Sunset Cliffs and told me that his Mom was pretty much actively dying.
I turned around and started back to the house so I could say goodbye.
I barely missed her passing. But I said my goodbye and helped Rodd and Gloria get settled into the process of grieving.
Came home, had lunch, and started the laundry.
Kuma settled down around 1300 and slept solidly until almost 1900.
W: 7.02lbs
T: none
We’re stalled right around 7lbs, he’s demonstrating no s/sx of relapse, his fur is growing back into his body faux-hawk, no seizures, no ataxia, he’s eating well, peeing/pooping well, and all his hunting skills are improving.
He’s jumping better, and his distance judgment is still jacked, but he adapts well.
We had a good day.
GodSpeed Ruthie, go to God knowing you did a great job ;), we love you and will miss you
