Day 19 Kuma’s FIP Journey

Kuma is nuclear again LOL

Skin Surveillance:  good on all fronts, no s/sx of sores

He ate well overnight, no poop yet

0600 Keppra, had to be woken up for his meds.

Isao was at work till noon when he got home, Kuma was awake and ready for attention.

1400 keppra given, had to be woken up

1800 I get home and am met with purrs 😉

1900 Neurontin

Kuma playing and sleeping.

2100 Capella administration

Weight:  3.92lbs

Temp 101.2F

Location: position 4 R front flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent:  excellent, deep, tall

Injection:  excellent, needle deep to the subQ space, smooth fluid injection, some crying

Shook the tent for 10s, squeezed the injection site for 30+s

No leakage!

Cleaned the skin afterward with a soapy towel, fresh water rinse, and pat dry.

Skin surveillance:  no s/sx of sores yet

CHURU!!!!

Kuma instantly began to play after the treat.
