Day 30, Kuma’s FIP Journey!!!!!!!!

DAY 30!!!!!!!  Kuma’s FIP Journey

DAY 30!!!!!  Kuma has made it through his first 30 days of GS441524 treatment.

It’s been quite the journey so far, but with the help of our amazing FIPWarrior group and our amazing admins, Butters and Nancy, we have navigated this trip together.

I pray for all the kittehs and fur-parents who are struggling way worse than we ever did.

We caught Kuma’s symptoms before they were severe, and I think we saved his life as a result.

I pray for all the fur parents and kittehs who struggle with the huge doses that adult cats require.

Kuma is so tiny, his doses are under 1.5mLs, and he’s barely attached to his skin, so our subQ med admins have been relatively simple.

Kuma has his 30+ day Vet visit with Dr. Lair on Monday where we will get the labs to check on his progress, I’m nervous, but the last set of labs (requested by me) was excellent and there is a definite downtrend in his globulins.

I am cautiously optimistic.

Today is a Duck Foot kind of day 
