Day 34, Kuma’s FIP Journey

0600 Keppra

Kuma was active this morning, with good pee/poop.

Skin surveillance:  no s/sx of sores

I had PT this morning, went, came back, and had to go to work.

Isao has to work this afternoon.

Kuma is very active until 1400 when he gets his Keppra.

1400 Keppra.

Isao to work

No 1900 Neurontin, it’s trivia night

2200 Keppra and Capella administration

W:  4.48lbs, a slight weight gain

T:  not tonight

Dose:  1.3mL

Location:  Position 1, L front flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent: excellent, good deep pocket

Needle insertion:  excellent, bevel down, top of the pocket, smooth injection.

No pain meds mean howling

Needle withdrawal:  smooth, no leaks

Post-injection skin prep:  soapy towel, fresh water rinse, dry towel dry.

CHURU!!!!

Kuma got to play for just a bit, both of us are very tired.
