Day 37, Kuma’s FIP Journey

0600 Keppra

I slept in, and awoke to sleepy Kuma, who soon metamorphosed into NUCLEAR KUMA!!!!!

He is on a tear today!

Tummy issues kept me in bed, and Kuma having his reign of terror in the house LOL

0830 Laser session, could only do 5m infection, 5m inflammation before he was all teeth and growling (he doesn’t bite hard and doesn’t fight hard, he’s actually quite gentle).  So we’ll do the other programs later

0900 he’s tearing up his box……

DRAMA!!!!!

Our friend Mike has gotten himself into quite the pickle with the VW Bus.

We have to go pick him up at a VW parts place in NastyCity and bring him back up to his hotel in PB/LJ….on a beach weekend…..

All went well, Mike got some parts, we dropped him off, went to DF with Kitamura-San and Matt, got a bit shitty, had some fun, and went home.

Played D2R for a while.

No real dinner, we’re both stuffed.

Watched a new anime called CyberPunk, pretty good, super violent

Kuma was resting and then playing and then exploring.

We have had a development though.

He has started using the adult litter box and I’m not happy about this.

Fecal-oral is the way to spread FIP, so I’m afraid that he’ll be able to spread it to the others.

I think we’ll have to take the litter box out of the kitchen and put it in the bedroom to protect the others.

We need to figure this out.

Kuma did get 3 laser treatments today.  5m infection, 5m inflammation, 5m skin.

1900 Neurontin 0.1mL

We watched the old Willow tonight, such a great movie!!

2115 Capella administration

W: 4.56lbs

T:  none

D: 1.3mL

Position 3, R front flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent:  difficult up here, had to move around Isao a bit, but got a good tent

Needle insertion:  top-down, bevel down, deep in the tent

Med administration:  good, smooth, some growling

Needle withdrawal:  good, smooth, no leakage or bleeding

Post-injection skin prep:  soapy towel, fresh water rinse, dry with a cosmetic pad

CHURU!!!!

Kuma instantly went to the kitchen to play, is running around on the boxes in the living room.

He’s getting stronger every day.

A good day
