Day 39, Kuma’s FIP Journey
I went surfing, was really fun , and home early to call the vet.
Came home to nuclear Kuma, running around, obnoxious.
Got 4 programs for him, 5m inflammation, 5m infection, 5m virus, 5m pain.
Isao got 5m inflammation
Into the shower, off to run errands, first to Carl to turn in the laser, thank GOD for that man!!!!
The to the Yacht Club to turn in our fees.
DIABLO 2 RESURRECTED!!!!
Kuma pretty much ran around and then slept for the rest of the day.
Dinner, leftovers, YUM
1900 Neurontin 0.1mL, max dose
CyberPunk and Inuyasha marathon!!!
2100 Capella administration
W: 4.58lbs, almost 6lbs, will add up to 1.4mL!!!
Position 6, R rear flank, our nemesis.
Pre-injection prep: same
Tent: good, Isao gave the tissue a good forward push, and gave me a great tent.
Needle insertion: smooth, had to be careful of the opposite side of the tent.
Med injection: smooth, yowling, was painful
Needle withdrawal: smooth, no leaks, no bleeding.
Post-injection skin prep: soapy towel, fresh water rinse, pat dry.
Off to play, running, jumping.
So I did call the vet today. Unfortunately, Dr. Lair is out of town, which means when she returns on Wednesday, she is already fully booked.
Also, Dr. Berg is packed out as well filling in for her patients.
We did book an apt for Friday at 1400 just to hold a spot.
Kuma has NOT had any more tongue grinding today. He didn’t get any more Neurontin last night or this morning. He just got his normal dose for the meds.
He hasn’t demonstrated any pain reactions except when you stroke his rear hips, then he will lick his front paws.
Praying we see no more of that behavior.
A good day
