2100 Capella administration
W: 4.78lbs, HUGE WEIGHT GAIN!!!!
T: none
Dose: INCREASE to 1.5mL
Position 1, L front flank
Pre-injection skin prep: same
Tent: excellent, good, deep pocket, increased volume requires this.
Needle insertion: excellent, deep in the pocket
Med administration: good, smooth, NO VOCALIZATIONS
Needle withdrawal: good, but some leakage, large volume requires deep tent and good bouncing to allow for fluid to flow downwards into the body wall.
Post-injection skin prep: soapy towel, fresh water rinse x 2, pat dry, NO MORE LEAK
CHURU!!!!!
Adults get churu too , Kuma must wait
Kuma released!!! Instant chaos!!!
2200. Keppra
Skin surveillance: we found a lump in his R front leg armpit, right at the hair line, it might be a lymph node, not sure, but it’s not an injection site…..
I’ll call the vet tomorrow and get an appointment with Dr. Lair and have her look at it.
A good day
