Day 51, Kuma’s FIP Journey

I slept in, like, REALLY slept in!

Isao gave Kuma 0600 Keppra

Got up around 0730, it’s a brewing day with Davey and Annemarie

Chillin’ in the house with Kuma being nuclear!!

I took a walk, felt fat LOL, and needed to get out and exercise.

Very nice walk, cool, nice breeze, overcast.

Isao is baking bread for us and Davey and Annemarie.

Kuma got his laser tx today, 5m infection, 5m inflammation, and 5m Virus.

Showers and off to get water.

Back to the house, just getting all the brewing stuff out, ordered pizza for lunch!!

Much fun brewing, with good conversation, and, of course, beer drinking.

D&A are getting ready to get a kitten or 2, so we talked about how it is with cats vs dogs, think they’ll pull the trigger 

1400 Keppra

Brew finished, settling into the house, dinner simple, fish, egg, rice, very Japanese.

1900 Neurontin

INUYASHA MARATHON to finish season 1!!  SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!

2100 Capella administration

W:  4.86

T:  101F

D: 1.5mL

Position 6, R rear flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent:  excellent, good, and deep

Needle insertion:  good, but Kuma turned as it was inserted, so Isao had to re-assert the scruff

Med administration:  good, smooth

Needle withdrawal:  good, but some pretty heavy bleeding, I could smell it

No med leakage, but I might have hit a capillary bed, the bleeding stopped within 30s.

Post-injection skin prep:  vigorous washing with a soapy towel, freshwater rinsing x 4, dry with a fresh towel.

CHURU!!!!!  MUCH GROWLING with churu-time and churu-song.

OFF TO PLAY!!!!

Kuma “trills” now, a super-high-pitch trill, like he’s asking someone to play with him.

He does it especially when he’s running around the house chasing things.

It’s the cutest noise 

Checked his skin again, no more bleeding, no leakage

Paw of Discipline is heavy tonight, Kuma is being really obnoxious, drawing hisses from Rocket, which is rare

Time for some laser:  5m infection, 5m inflammation, and, if he allows it, 5m virus

2200 Keppra

A really fun day
