Day 61 Kuma’s FIP Journey

0615 Keppra

Daddy to Michigan to race in the cold with Lars.

I have 0700 PT

Home to nuclear Kuma!!!

He is an absolute douchebag today!!!!  I had to lock him up to get him off of Sasha

Home to play D2R

1415 Keppra

Matt will be here today to help with Kuma at 1700

1500 Neurontin 0.1mL

1700 Capella administration

Gave Matt a quick tutorial on how to control a cat by the scruff, and went into how we position him for injection.

When Matt was ready, we began with med administration.

W:  5.14lbs having problems getting him beyond this point

T:  100.7F

D:  1.6mL

Position 5. L mid flank

Pre-injection skin prep:  same

Tent:  excellent, deep

Needle insertion:  good, smooth, deep in the tent

Med administration:  smooth, some crying at the end

Needle withdrawal:  smooth, slight leakage/bleeding, cleaned during CHURU!!!!

Matt did an excellent job, was calm, had good control, and gave churu while I daubed skin

Post-injection skin prep:  soapy towel, fresh water rinse x 3

Off to play!!!

Matt and I leave for trivia and Kuma to the office.

2200. skins look good, no leak, KEPPRA
