Day 10. Kuma’s FIP Journey

0615.  Keppra

He is active

1 large poo this morning

Being picky with his food, flavoring with Chicken CHURU

After returning from shopping, Kuma was asleep in the most broken way LOL!!

I put him back together and that woke him up, he had a nice amount of food and has settled into the lunchbox for grooming and more napping.

Keppra @1400.

Kuma slept through the afternoon as did I.

1600, placed him into the lunchbox and into the office.

He woke once, ate, and went back to sleep.

2000 Neurontin

2100 Capella administration

Weight: 3.38lbs, weight loss 🙁

Temp:  no temp

Location:  L front flank, position 1

Pre-injection prep:  same

Good tent:  no pain on needle insertion.

Injection:  no yowling, some growling toward the end of injection.

Post injection:  some bleeding onto a gauze pad

Washed the entire injection area with a soapy towel, cleaned thoroughly with fresh water, patted dry, and applied pressure with a gauze pad.

WILL MONITOR FOR ANY SIGNS OF LEAKAGE

No more bleeding will monitor the site carefully for any signs/sx of infection or sore development.

CHURU!!!

He nibbled some food, then began to play.

Skin surveillance:  no development of sores as of yet.
